Stake Line Winder, 30# x 500 ft. (Colors May Vary)ReviewsCan't stand the winders that come with kites, so I upgraded to this one. It's a little heavy for my kids to hold, but much easier for me to hold and wind up. i like how it's easy to let the string out to get height on the kite fast, but it's quite a bit of work winding it back up. might have gone with one that has a reel, but over all it was a good value, easy to use and lots of string. This line is much, much stronger (and thus better) than the standard kite line 30 x 300 that comes with the original Easy Flyer. Easier to hold, wind/unwind and control, too. Definetely worth the extra $8 spent in my opinion. Like any hobby, it takes a while to get the hang of using a kite, and the kite string can be an issue. This kite string was perfect for my kite, and winding and unwinding is not hard to do. Good quality string, well packaged and the clip is very good. Does what its supposed to do. Light weight, sturdy enough, and a little easier to wind. However it makes me want to go that next step - to a crank winding system ala fishing pole. Average Rating:  |

Based on the traditional Indian kite winder but made of modern materials. The Stake Winder feeds the line in and out easily and includes a snap swivel tied at the end of the line. |
