After buying a couple of spur of the moment kites, including a "stunt" kite, that never got up for more than a minute, I nabbed this from Amazon after searching for "easiest kite to fly". Tried it out on the beach in SC, and sure enough it went up with no effort (no running). Sent it up 100 yards in no time, no doubt could have gone way higher. I'd recommend also buying a spool of string with a fishing type leader at the end. Maybe it was the leader that made it easy, but this kite was a piece of cake to fly.

Mikey Monkey is an excellent kite for kids. Easy flyer is an understatement! This lively kite will take off with a gentle breeze and will not stop rising till it runs out of string.

This kite is quite big. It says for ages 6 and up, and it truly is, as it takes some force to control it. One needs a good wind to lift it up, but it is lots of fun!

	Blue Hawaiian Gayla Trendsetter Delta Kite Reviews the kite i recieved was not made in the USA, it was made in mexico. i'm disappointed about this misinformation as this was a major reason for buying this kite.. we tried it out today, it was a windy enough day for it, but it worked fine.
